I have over 15 years’ experience as a PA working at Executive Level and have worked mainly in the public sector in organisations such as The Universities of Salford and Manchester, the NHS and more recently in the education sector supporting the CEO of a Multi Academy Trust and the Board of Directors. I hold qualifications in Project Management and Business Management and also have 7 years' experience of advising the Board of Directors on compliance and legal matters.
I am used to working in a fast-paced challenging environment and have infinite experience in multi-tasking, organisation and time management to meet very tight deadlines. I am highly skilled in minute taking including C suite and am accomplished in email and diary management.
I am exceptionally professional and experienced with an impressive and extensive set of office and organisational skills which can be applied across a diverse sector. I am a productive individual and highly motivated with a happy and confident nature. I have strong communication skills both in writing and verbally as well as a solid work ethic demonstrating discretion and confidentiality at all times.
When I’m not working you will usually find me at the gym lifting weights or somewhere on top of a mountain with my partner.

When you are in meetings all day or dealing with other tasks you will no doubt be checking your emails in the evening, possibly missing out on quality famliy time or catching up on the latest box set. I can help with this by managing your inbox, flagging anything important and responding to frequently asked questions. I can also delete anything that is not relevant. For many clients this is a weight off their minds. Who doesn’t love a nice and tidy inbox.
Your business is growing. Clients want to meet with you to discuss potential business opportunities. You just don’t have the time to set all these meetings up. I will take care of that for you, calling or emailing people back and getting that important appointment confirmed in the diary, making sure the opportunity isn’t lost.
There’s more to arranging meetings than just making the appointment. There are also room bookings to make, hotels to book, travel to arrange, paperwork to prepare. If you are meeting someone for the first time, a good impression counts! I willl ensure you have travel time booked in the diary in between appointments allowing time to get to and from one place to the other and schedule in time for you to have some lunch! I will make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible.
The meeting is set. Everyone has accepted. You are ready to present that all important presentation. I will attend the meeting virtually and take the minutes for you. Having been in the situation where I have had to present at a meeting and takes notes, I know how difficult this can be. Your job is to chair and contribute to the meeting, so leave the minute taking to me.
Travel is a big part of any business owner’s day. This could local, national, or overseas. I can help prepare your itinerary, plan your journey and the best possible routes, research and book flights and/or hotels and book a restaurant ready for your arrival.
Have you ever had a client who is behind on their payment? This can become rather awkward. I will help chase payments, send reminders and resend invoices on your behalf so you don’t need to have those conversations. I will also electronically file any invoices in a logical order and add them onto Xero for you to approve.
Is your email marketing list GDPR compliant? Are all your contacts secured in a safe place? How do you monitor your leads and follow up to ensure you don’t miss any opportunities? All of this can be handled by a good CRM system. Send me those business cards and I will update your CRM system in no time at all. If current contacts need updating I will do this too.
Research can be very time consuming so why not get a Virtual Assistant on the case? I will research whatever you need online and present my findings back to you, so you can utilise the information immediately.
When you have spent hours writing a piece of material it can be really hard to identify any minor errors that can make all the difference in making the right first impression. I will proofread any important documentation for you giving you the piece of mind you need so you can get out there and make a good impression.
The meeting with your client is all set up, but there is a lot of background preparation to be done. This could be researching their company, preparing a presentation, or planning the best way to get there and organising car parking if necessary. I can help you get ready and make sure you’re prepared for when you arrive.
Meeting preparation can be very time consuming especially when it comes to chasing and collating papers. I will help prepare templates, collate information from team members, chase outstanding data, draft reports and email meeting packs to your members so they have the information prior to the meeting and can come prepared.
There is a lot of work that goes behind the scenes in preparing for Board meetings. This starts with the creation of the annual business cycle, drafting agendas, collating information for the reports, preparing the meeting packs, distribution of papers, drafting of minutes and chasing up actions. These are all aspects of board support I have extensive experience in so can hit the ground running.
Event planning is a great thing to be involved in, but it can be very time consuming. I have helped plan team meetings, board meetings, conferences and interview days. I can help you by issuing invitations, researching and booking venues, liaising with and answering questions from your guests, arranging speakers and much more. I will keep you updated and let you know when everything is arranged.
Life is busy! Even the most organised people can forget things. I can be your reminder service too, anything from birthday to reminding you to email someone so you can focus on other things. But remember to let me know about in the first place!
Finding that perfect gift can be really difficult and time consuming. I can do this for you. Anything from flowers to Christmas hampers or a special birthday, I can help by coming up with some ideas for you, making the purchase and even getting them delivered in time for the special occasion. As per the remimder service I will also remind you when those special occasions are about to come around to allow you plenty of time to get organised.
The days go by so quickly and soon turn into weeks and you still haven’t made that important appointment. From medical appointments to booking your gardener and helping out with any social events, I have your back.
Researching the best deal for your holiday or short break can sometimes be exciting, but it can also be time consuming. I can help with researching hotels, sourcing and booking activities for the duration of your stay and researching and booking your travel. Don’t forget I can also help to look after things while you are away (Executive/PA Support).
